KwaZulu Natal authorities have put the province on high alert following the storms that killed three people and destroyed homes in Estcourt, Pietermaritzburg and Kokstad on Tuesday. 

Unusual weather patterns are forecast for the next few days and therefore all disaster management centres across the province have been mobilised.
